We collect minimal data. Standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) may be recorded. No account registration is required. Preferences such as language and theme settings are stored locally in your browser using localStorage and are never transmitted to our servers.

Reactions and User Identification

When you react to a post, we assign your browser a randomly generated anonymous ID (stored in localStorage as qg_uid). This ID is used solely to prevent duplicate reactions on the same post. It contains no personal information and is never linked to your identity. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

Cookies and Advertising

Third-Party Services

We use Google Fonts for typography and Google Translate API for optional content translation. GIF search is powered by Giphy. These services may collect data as described in their own privacy policies.

Data Storage

User preferences (theme, language, bookmarks, reactions, anonymous user ID) are stored in your browser's localStorage and remain entirely on your device. We do not have access to this data.

Children's Privacy

Quickgeo does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us.
